Half way through the beginning 30% of the show, I was starting to consider – “would I enjoy it if this story was on a 2D screen”? Or put it straight – “Would I really enjoy the story?”

I have been only watching two 3D shows in my life. Last one was “UP”. In Avatar, it is too significantly obvious that the editor is trying to make everything as “3D” as possible, esp on the depth of field thing. However, as it is not possible to make “every single object’ to the finest detail (which would take 20 years), you may see certain parts to be “too 3D”, and some to be “not 3D enough”. This kind of “real 3D” + “2.5D” + “2D” mixture really makes my head aching, starting from my eyes.
